I'm blastellanos on AO3! And I'm really glad to get you as my author. <3
If you’ve already got an idea- write that!-- I didn't have any prompts or specifications and I'm pretty easy going as it happens. I’m excited anyways and happy to even be participating, so whatever makes you happy, makes me happy!
I'm going to go over some likes and preferences and then below that, a bit about the ships I want.
Likes and Preferences
I mostly like slash and gen but as some of these dudes are married, I wouldn't be opposed to their wives making an appearance. I love a lot of tropes it's honestly easier to list things I don't want at all.
No villainizing the wives of characters-- I hate that shit. If it's porn-- No A/B/O stuff, no mpreg. No bathroom stuff. Everything else is fine!
I like romance, I like character pieces, I like emotional stories and I like people suffering but with a hopeful ending. :|
I love found family stuff.
Go wild though! I am just happy to be here. :D
Pairing Specific Preferences (Keep in mind these are all really suggestions and none of this has to be included)
Miguel Cabrera/J.D. Martinez - I'd love something down a hero worship sort of line OR an established relationship where they struggle with being separated.
J.D. Martinez/ Paul Goldschmidt - I'd really like something that explores the beginning of their relationship, like how they start and why. Or something jealousy driven since in the latter part of the season, there was a shift over from Goldy being kind of #theface to JD being on all of their promotional stuff on like twitter and the like.
James McCann/José Iglesias- Go wild here. Honestly. Anything goes. You're likely not going to do anything I haven't thought of them wanting to do to one another to begin with. :D
J.D. Martinez/Nick Castellanos- #LETTHEMBEHAPPY2K17. I've written a lot of unhappy stories (for them) where they don't wind up together so I'd like something where maybe they do wind up getting their happy ending.
Justin Verlander- Honestly, Tigers pairing or Astros pairing-- someone coping with him getting traded, him seducing one of his new young bucks, something with his lovely wife. JV doesn't get the love he deserves. If you're feeling inclined, JV/Alex Avila is a favorite pairing so that works too. I'm pretty open about it.
